1. The short version
CabPass uses two first-party cookies — one to keep you signed in, and one to credit a referral partner if you arrived through their link. That's it. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party tracking of any kind.
2. The cookies we set
| Cookie | What it does | How long | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
taxi_quiz_session |
Keeps you signed in and remembers your progress while you move between pages. The Service cannot work without it. | Until you sign out or close your browser | Strictly necessary |
ref_code |
Only set if you arrive through a referral partner's link (a web address containing ?ref=). It remembers which partner introduced you so we can pay them a commission if you sign up. It contains a partner code — nothing about you. |
90 days | Functionality |
We also use your browser's local storage (not a cookie) to remember that you have dismissed our cookie notice, so we don't show it to you again.
3. What we don't do
- No analytics or statistics cookies (no Google Analytics or similar)
- No advertising or retargeting cookies
- No social media tracking pixels
- No cookies that follow you to other websites
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. This fetches font files from Google's servers but does not set any cookies.
4. Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time (usually under Privacy or Site Settings). Bear in mind that if you block the session cookie, you won't be able to stay signed in to CabPass. Blocking the referral cookie only means a partner wouldn't be credited for introducing you.
