Last updated: 27 September 2025
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the CabPass website (the "Service") operated by UNITED KINGDOM ONLINE LTD ("us", "we", or "our").
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
1. The Service
CabPass provides an online study platform designed to help users prepare for the Manchester Private Hire Knowledge Test. The Service includes access to a database of practice questions, mock examinations, and progress tracking tools.
2. Account Registration
- To access the Service, you must create an account and complete a one-time payment.
- You must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
- You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. Sharing of accounts is strictly prohibited.
- You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
3. Communications and Marketing
By creating an account on our Service, you agree that we may use the contact information you provide (such as your email address) to send you information about your account, updates to the Service, and occasional promotional materials for other relevant products and services offered by UNITED KINGDOM ONLINE LTD. You can opt-out of receiving marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly.
4. Payment and Access
- Access to the CabPass platform requires a one-time payment of £85.00 (GBP).
- This payment grants you "lifetime access" to the Service. "Lifetime access" refers to the life of the CabPass Service. Should the Service be discontinued, access will terminate.
- All payments are processed securely via our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
- Due to the digital nature of our product, all payments are final and non-refundable.
5. Pass Guarantee
Our marketing claim of "Pass the Manchester Taxi Test, Guaranteed" is a statement of confidence in our study materials. While our Service is designed to comprehensively prepare you for the test, we do not offer a monetary refund if you do not pass. The final test result depends on individual study, effort, and performance on the day. The "guarantee" ensures that our question bank is kept up-to-date and relevant to the official test guidelines.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, including all questions, text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of UNITED KINGDOM ONLINE LTD and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service:
- In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation.
- To attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Service, the server on which the Service is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Service.
- To use any automated system, including without limitation "robots," "spiders," or "offline readers," to access the Service in a manner that sends more request messages to the servers than a human can reasonably produce in the same period by using a conventional on-line web browser.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of our study materials, we make no warranties, expressed or implied, that the content is error-free or that use of the Service will result in passing the official knowledge test.
In no event shall UNITED KINGDOM ONLINE LTD, nor its directors, employees, or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
